Renata Kulig-Radziszewska

MA Fine Arts, artist painter, interior and fashion designer, book illustrator. 

Born in Cracow in 1954. Diploma at the Interior Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under the direction of Reader Krystyna Strachocka-Zgud.; earlier graduated from the Fine Arts Secondary School in Cracow. Since 1984 creative artistic activity: painting, interior and fashion design, book illustrations. 1988-91 – fashion designer for “Makowianka” Coorperative Society Maków Podhalanski, 1994-2000 design lecturer at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow, 1984-87 – stage design cooperation with the Polish Television Cooperation Cracow, 2000-2003 commissioned paintings for the Cracow Corn Industrial Plant in Cracow.

The main topics of painting activities are figurative images, often female figures in symbolic depictions, presented in the cycles “women” and “cafés” The second topics are Cracow landscapes, the city’s architecture with its charming streets and peculiar atmosphere. I also paint paintings on commission, portraits, still life, and genre scenes. I cooperate with the Cichoccy Gallery and Szalom in Cracow. 6 individual exhibitions: at the BWA Gallery Wloclawek/1987/ Gallery M /1988/ Gallery Rekawka /1989, 2007/ Florianska22/ 2013/ Kielce /2014/ Participation in around 30 topical collective exhibitions of the Cracow District Association of Polish Artists and Designers and national and international post-plenary exhibitions. Her pictures can be found in private collections all over the world. The picture “Cracow wedding”/200x120cm/ painted on the commission of the chairman of the Cracow Corn Industrial Plant; the picture “Rococo ball” /90x150cm/ painted on the commission of the Industry Development Agency for the castle in Baranów Sandomierski.

Five-times author of the project and realization of the exhibitions for the “Vistula” company on the Poznan Trade Fair. Fashion design for children from 6-12 years old at “Makowianka” Coop. and participation in the fashion show at the Wroclaw Opera; Author of many projects and interior design realizations for shops with a large area in the centre of Cracow. Author of illustrations for books by A. Malewicz “Bajki nie bajki” [Fairy tales no fairy tales] – 150 fairy tales, /Warsaw 2010,/; by Ewa Lipinska “Ksiezyc w butonierce” [The moon in the buttonhole] /Cracow 2004/ Long standing member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, member of the Association of Silesian Artists and the Who is Who Poland community 2013
